Season 4

Ok, just wanted to give a little update on the estimated timeframe for the start of season 4. Based on the current rate of signups, I would guess that we could be looking at a early February start time. If you want to start sooner, you can help by inviting your friends. All you have to do is go into your user settings control panel and click on invite. You can then enter an email and an optional message. Happy Running,

Season 4 coming soon...

The World Running League has officially filled up now! We have a waiting list for those who just didn't quite get in in time! Lots of people have been asking about how to get assigned to a team. This will be done automatically in the very near future, so stay tuned for an email from the WRL!

Prize Winner!

In the Nike forums I had announced that I would be giving away an iPod case once there were no open positions in the WRL. So, now that we're full, I needed to find a winner. So, using random.org, I selected a winner! And the winner was... wondermom24! Congrats!

What's been going on around here...?

In case you saw, we did indeed pull the site down over the weekend in an attempt to ready the WRL for season 4. We've finished most of it, so look out for an email in the near future with team details! Also, we've submitted the World Running League iPhone app to the app store, so be on the lookout for that!

Site Tweaks

Hey all,
I've moved a couple things around on the match page to try and pull the more important elements of the page together. Hopefully it looks ok to everyone. Also, in case you haven't noticed, we've got a new favicon (the little image at the top of your browser next to the page title). Also, there are some new graphics for the iPhone app (it will be out VERY soon, I promise!) thanks to zepols_68! So be sure to thank him when you see him around!

Beta

I've recently decided that the best way to release larger features, is to phase them in slowly. So, I am starting a beta feature group for the World Running League. Beta users will have exclusive access to new features that are still in the works. Plus, with previews of these new features, you will be able to give your input on how to improve these features! If you want to sign up, just leave a comment. For now, I need 5 users to beta test, so its first-come, first-serve.

Welcome back!

Welcome back to the 5th season of the World Running League! We've got a lot of new features planned the season, so make sure you stay tuned them. Remember that you can be the first to test new features out by visiting WRLabs (see the link at the top-right of the page). Our projected start date has had to be pushed back to June 27 due to some major website remodeling. If you have any questions or comments about the WRL, please do ask!

Help Desk

The World Running League has been looking at new ways of providing support for a while now and we are proud to release the new Help Desk. The Help Desk is aimed at helping you find an answer to your question as fast as possible. We've created a Knowledge Base so that you can try and find an answer to your question there first. If you can't find an answer, just submit a support ticket and we will attempt to answer your question as soon as possible! The knowledge base is small right now, but we will be working hard to expand it as much as possible. If you have any questions about this new way of support, why not try it out and submit a support ticket!
